End of April update(s)??

I keep forgetting that I can actually use this to yknow, blog. LOL

I'm still slowly chipping away at costume stuff, I just don't have anything to show for right now as it's really not going to look like anything until I'm done. lmao I also just got all the materials I need for a new costume I've been wanting to do for a whiiile now, but again, nobody's going to know what it is until I have the entire costume done so I'll probably keep quiet about it is until I get some full costume test shots. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cosplayers, what are y'all working on and what cons or events to do you plan to attend soon?

My next confirmed event will be E3 and it'll be my first time attending with Siyegen! I'm really excited for this as pretty much all my other plans after Anime LA kinda fell through ^^; and I'll be at the Bethesda Showcase this year too! The last time I got in was that first year back in 2015 haha, and sadly no, I don't have any connections or whatever (LMAO) and I have to register for a chance to get an invite like everyone else. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm still not thrilled about attending stuff in LA, but at least I live closer now and won't feel super awful about having to Lyft??

Moving on~ I've been kinda quiet about this, but I've slowly been working on videos for my YouTube, if you're not subbed you can check out my channel here! I still get very anxious doing videos, especially ones where I want to talk to the camera. It's a lot more difficult than people think, just being seen as any sort of 'public figure' and putting yourself out there for the world to see. I do have some merch videos queued up and ready to go, and hopefully next week I'll feel comfortable to record the vlogs I had planned like ones explaining my absence and talking about my Instagram getting disabled back in February (I've only mentioned this to one other person...), the latter being the push I needed to finally get my site and blog up. But oh man, I'm still so PISSED about that whole situation and I have zero faith in that app anymore.

Anyways. This weekend we might check out some of the local bars and restaurants, I do miss the convenience of living right next to the Anaheim Packing District but I know there's plenty here that we need to check out!! It still feels really weird that we live in Santa Monica and I don't know if that will fully settle in or what, haha.
