I really need to stop taking naps in the evenings, but man I just CRASH HARD sometimes especially after working out. 😩 Sooo this is exactly why I'm up at 1:28am haha, I've been wanting to catch up on some blogging anyways as I missed posting something last week!
I spent some time yesterday playing around with some of my content creation equipment, but man, why is it so annoying to find a decent phone tripod that's extendable? 😅 I hate that a lot of these or the light rings ONLY have the spring-y clamp phone holders/mounts on them, the only way those will work with my phone is if I take the case off. No thanks!! I know it'll be that one time I take the case off, when I accidentally drop it and it hits the floor at just the right angle to make the screen shatter or some shit. Anyways, it turns out this new ring light I bought actually has exactly what I've been looking for, so yay, that's one thing down. LOL I think I need to add content creation gear/equipment on my list of things to review too, because damn I've spent a lot of money on this shit.
The big thing will be testing out my audio and video setup on my computer when it's been uhh, about a year since I've really used any of this shit. If there's one thing that I absolutely hate about the whole content creation process, it's editing video. 😭😭 My hope is that once I get the Youtube videos rolling out (...again LOL) I can look into hiring someone to edit for me, not that I do anything crazy editing because to be honest I still don't know what I'm doing, but simple shit like editing out bad takes and dead air. I know I could get a lot more done if I didn't have to worry about that, but first I need to get back into consistently filming video content again. I'll make a formal post about this later on, but if you do video editing and would be interested in helping me please get in touch!
Hmm, well aside from all that there hasn't been much new going on? 😅 I basically had to spend the weekend keeping an eye on our cats as people were setting off fireworks since last Thursday, in fact they're still doing it even though it's died down a lot. The cats have gotten used to the Disneyland fireworks, but people setting off fireworks 2 DOORS DOWN DURING THE AFTERNOON is another thing entirely. They didn't even bother to clean up their trash 🙃 at one point last Friday I couldn't find Kainé, and that was because she hid behind all my Fallout plushies which she's never done before, later on she hid under a blanket in our bedroom. Emil stayed in my closet for a couple hours, he seemed fine afterwards, or maybe he's just better at hiding how anxious he really felt. Anyways, I'm tired of this shit 🤷♀️ we're in a drought, everything is dry as fuck, so maybe it's not a great idea to be setting off fireworks in the middle of residential areas to begin with??

I shaved the sides/back and trimmed up my hair as well, I felt like the length was getting too long LOL 😅 plus with my hair texture it gets super wavy when it gets to a certain length and just kinda annoying to deal with tbh. Cutting takes waaay longer than shaving, if you can believe it! I've been doing this long enough that I can get the sides/back shaved in about 20 minutes, and all by myself too! I started doing out of necessity as I like to keep it as short as possible, so I try to get it every 1 1/2 weeks. This also helps hide all the white hairs I have LMAO 🤪 yay for pandemic stress combined with getting older!!
